"Empire of Love"

LOVE??? Merriam-Webster's Dictionary defined it as noun. strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties (2) : attraction based on sexual desire : affection and tenderness felt by lovers (3) : affection based on admiration, benevolence, or common interests. -- But, what does love really mean for you?

Some says that love is unconditional. Some says that love is like a rosary that is full of mistery. Others believe that love is the most wonderful feeling that one can ever have.

Love for me is built in what I call the "Empire of Love" and that is Friendship, Trust, Commitment, Open Communication, Partnership, Respect and Passion. If one of these element is missing I believe that the relationship is heading to an end.

Friendship is an important element of love because it is the foundation of a good relationship. Trust? It will always be the partner of love. I believe that you may not always trust the person you love, but believe me you can always love the one you trust. Trust comes with commitment and open communication. The conversations that you have with your love are very important; these conversations with your partner can help prevent any feelings of resentment that might arise later on in your life together. I feel that both of you needs to dialogue with the other about his or her goals and desires: both goals for him or her, as an individual, and goals for them, as a couple in a loving relationship Also, it is very important to be open to your partner and talk about problems or even the smallest issues that you both have. By doing this, you will surely avoid major problems to pile up. Then next to that is considering your partner all the time and doing things with him/her- giving each other support. Also, every individual are worthy of respect. Without it, love will never exist. And we should also never forget passion, because through passion, there will always be excitement, joy, romance and sexual intensity that will keep the relationship alive.

Love changes us.. the way we act, think and decide. It teaches us a lot of things, sometimes we even go against our beliefs and principles just to follow our heart. Love doesn't always gives us happiness but also pain and miseries that help us to grow and improve. Love is something everyone can have, but you really have to work it out and nourish it for it to grow. We have to understand, and as the saying goes "love does not just happen, it must be nurtured through the years."

There's so much to say about love, but i will end this by saying that love is unexplainable... boundless... and really conquers all!
